Keyword Research For Blog Site

My aim for this project was to find out the best keywords for my blogging site to achieve a good rank in SERP. It was done on the topic- Coffee Shops in Kolkata.

I put in keywords like best, top, cafe, etc. and relied on tools like Google Related Searches, Google Auto-Complete, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Keyword Planner, YouTube suggests, to get the best approximation of search volume, cost per click, difficulty level, traffic, backlinks requirement, and thus final relevance. I used Google Trends to see the popularity of my keyword.

The suitable keyword was deduced as "Best Cafe in Kolkata" on the basis of following criteria:
Monthly Searches: This keyword has a substantial monthly search volume (1k-10k), indicating a high level of interest among users.

Keyword Difficulty: The keyword difficulty is manageable with 2 backlinks required to appear in the top 10, according to Ahrefs. This is a reasonable level of competition.

Relevance: The keyword "Best Cafe in Kolkata" directly aligns with the theme of my site, which is listing the best coffee shops. It has commercial intent, which is important for attracting users looking for recommendations.

Trend: The keyword's trend is stable, with nearly 20 searches per day. Consistency in search volume is beneficial for long-term SEO efforts.
